This site is where:
My truth lives
My story speaks
My silence ends

WELCOME MESSAGE
Welcome to my Capstone project- However, this is not just an academic piece, it is a living artifact of truth, trauma, survival, and resistance. My name is Tammy Lynn, I am a mother, a First Nations Cree Woman, an advocate, a survivor, and a fighter, a future Social Worker and a future therapist, and... I am anything else I want to be but most importantly......
I AM ME!!
This site is my final project-and my forever mission. I am 39 years old an have been through more hell then most can imagine, and still I stand here. I have been navigating broken systems since I was a child. I am advocacy, I am lived experience, I am unapologetic, I am resilient, smart, funny, loud, and I will NEVER remain silent, I am TRUTH.
~I don't just believe in change, I am change~
~ I don't fit the Social Work mold because the mold was never made for me~
~I don't just carry my story, I carry the stories of everyone who wasn't allowed to speak~

This is one of the most empowering displays of resilience I have ever seen. You are definitely not a force to be reckoned with. I have thought you were so strong and powerful since the first day you walked through aawears doors. I was so proud to have my very 1st social worker practicum student , and was equally as disappointed when Kathleen stole u away from me lol. I am honoured to be your friend and to have a first row seat as u challenge and tear down overly stigmatized colonial policies and break through with a people centred social worker/ counseling framework
Your name will make history Tammy…just watch ❤️
Your story is your superpower and here it all is in black and white! It’s also a gift you owe no one and yet you continue to offer it with no holds barred. Few are brave enough to do it as you do.
Thanks for always teaching me so much about what it means to be 100% human in a world full of systems designed to dehumanize us. I learn so much from you, and I’m changed forever for that. I’m deeply grateful.
Go forth and change the world! 🤍
Ilu sis. You’re resilience personified and I hope to one day capture that same energy for myself. Please never let that spirit die.
You make me so proud, thank you for being so vulnerable and telling us all your story and what the system needs to fix the situation and letting every one know about you the you I love. Tammy, you show people that no matter what you are going through, you can make a better life even if you fall some times, you always get back up. Stronger, smarter and more fierce. Congratulations on your hard work sister, love you 💞
